We took a good fifteen minutes of video today riding the E-Ranger Scooter from the GG Park/Fulton/Baker area up Masonic to Pacific Heights. Our route then proceeded back up and down Golden Gate St., then back to Divisadero, down to Fell and over to where we started at the park. Overall, we rode up and down many hills of varying inclines, from a 15% to 35% grade with absolutely no problems. I would say the durability and flexibility of the vehicle is equal to any test not involving a hill above 40%. One thing we noticed throughout our ride is that over most of San Francisco, simply by diverting a block or two from a steep 40%+ hill, you’ll find a less steep one in the next block or two to traverse. The amount of electric charge used was negligible.
