Huh? Actually it’s on the right way! It’s a retro helmut which I much prefer than the dawky eggshell bike helmuts bike shops market. The shiney buttons on the front that you should be able to see are where you clip on a peak.

Yes, it simply disconnects power to the ne555 which then stops the Pwm logic pulse going to the GATE of the Mosfet. If there is no pulse the mosfet does not let high current through to the motor.

I made it. The main components are a 555 timer chip and a irfz44 N-Ch Mosfet. Heatsink salvaged from a bit of ally off a photocopier and so was the fan. Any old potentiometer from around 10k up will do.
